The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack status sassa of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
